The KV2 comes with two volumes and one tone. Does the volume knob closest to the bridge work the neck pickup or is it the bridge pickup like Dave Mustaine had the Y2KVs wired?

No, the one closer to the neck is the neck volume, and the one closer to the bridge is the bridge volume. -

Actually, wire the pickups to the switch, then the switch to the first knob, first knob to the second knob, then the rest as normal.
You should end up with two Master Volumes, where backing off one will make it thin and clean but backing off the other instead will just reduce the gain, leaving the beefy tone.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
