Hello from AZ

I just wanted to pop by and say check out the site. I met a few of the members here and they were all very cool. Nothing like a great group of hardcore Jackson fans. I have been playing guitar for about 28 years. One of my fav guitars was an 86 San Dimas I used to own. I am a part time luthier and have had a descent amount of time experimenting as a luthier.

It is a great feeling to overlap my passions as an artist, guitarist and lutiher into what I hope is long future of working with Jackson. I had a chance to hang with Mike Kotzen and John Walker all weekend and had the opportunity to meet many of the guys including inhouse artist,Brian B. Sorry Brian, I forget the last name spelling and didnt want to dis ya. I look forward to meeting all the other artists who have made Jackson/Charvel the premier guitar of the last 2 decades!

Hi there, Mike. I'm an Arizona guy, too. Do you do set-ups and general maintenance besides building the custom guitars?

I don't have the time I use to with the guitar stuff. Primarily building when I do find a moment or two. I do not do set ups as a service of my business. There are a few good guys around town that I would recommend. Checkout http://www.richbeckguitars.com
They have done some setup for guys that I know that have been very happy.

Yeah. I talked with Mike for a while at the J/C display. Kickass artist. Awesome guy too. Saw the Diablo head you painted too. Nice Chopper too!
