That doesn't look like a Charvel neck on the snakeskin guitar.

Great story though.....that was the show at Mr. Small's Funhouse, right?

That was a Performance neck I believe.

Did you ask anything about him going back to play his Charvels or any new Charvels?

Re: My Warren Demartini Story& The James Dean Char

The neck plate was empty like a USA fender strat. All of his Charvels necks had the wider radius, like Eds necks.
But this was DEFANATELY the guitar he used in the Lay It Down video and the cover shoot for GFTPM in Jan of 1985. He told me that the neck on that Charvel was only re-fretted 3 times. It was the GREATEST neck Ive ever played.

That's an AWESOME story!! I used to be a gigantic Warren fan (and still am I suppose), he was without doubt one of the best players from the 80's. I think I read that he had only been playing for 4 years when he first auditioned for Ratt, anyone know about this?

Awesome story dude, I just love hearing stories like that...makes for some good reading. I saw Ratt about 2 yrs ago and Warren blew me away.

Cool story, I'd love to uh "Inherit" any of his Charvels Such cool graphics on all of them.
He is a ripping player, I never really got into him until about 2 years ago, I always liked Ratt, but never really studied any of his stuff. he phrases really well, and he knows how to switch modes on the fly, which a lot of rock guitarists can't do (CC, Kirk H. for example)
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

DeMartini and Yngwie both have vibrato that is near impossble to imitate and is to die for.
