Jared, No controversy here. That guitar could've very well been recovered with new snakeskin. If Warren says it's the same guitar then it probably is.

The real million dollar question is...Did Warren tell you amp he used on the song Lay It Down? If not, next time he e-mails ya, you gotta ask him!

I've read in interviews with Warren that most of Invasion was recorded with some old Marshalls. Probably THE Demartini Marshall that everyone talks about.

I can tell ya this though, EVERY solo on Invasion was written and not off the cuff. And every solo was constructed on a fostex 4 track the night before goin in to the studio. I was so praying that they were off the cuff..now THAT would of made him god in my eyes. haha.

Nice story. Always great to have the opportunity to spend a decent amount of time with a celebrity. I met Warren in the mid 80's, but just for a minute to get an autograph. I've spent some time with a couple other of my favorite people though. 1 rock star and 1 sports star. Even though they're just "normal" human beings like us, you still know that it is really cool to have that experience. I imagine playing 1 of his guitars was incredible, but there's nothing like having a good conversation with someone who's had the experiences he's had. Anyone else have stories like this to share?
