• Price and availability of Jackson PC1

I bought a new Jackson PC1 a year and a half ago from DCGL and because of money bproblems had to sell it. Now I have been looking into buying another and the price dealers are asking for it is almost 400 dollars more. I've also noticed that not that many dealers have them in stock, compared to the time when I bought the one I had, were it appear to be more available. Does anyone know why the price has gone up so much in such a short time and what's going on with its availability?

Re: Price and availability of Jackson PC1

There have been price increases in the past few months, the most recently announced round the time of the NAMM show. As for where they're in stock, I think Scott @ VWall has one of each in all finishes available.

I can understand the price increases, but 400 dollars in less than 2 years? Damm! To me that is just too much.

What would be a fair price for a PC1 in excellent to mint condition?

Re: Price and availability of Jackson PC1

I've seeen them as low as $1100 and up to about $1400 or so. Obviously they're out there for more, but you should be able to get one between those numbers.

Throw up a WTB in the classifieds, see what that yields.

Good luck!

Well, IMO, as long as it's been a significant amount of time since you posted last, try it again or bump the one you've already posted. I don't know when you posted last, but...

You can define significant, I'm not going to. Sounds like a decent topic tho, how long is acceptable to re-post or bump you're own ad?

Econ,
I bought my Chlorine PC1 brand new for 1295 and it was one of the best investments I've made as far as buying guitars goes. I still see quite a few pop up on the bay for decent prices.

When did you buy yours? That is a proce I'm definitely comfortable paying. I have been quoted 1799 and up for a new one.
