Thanks guys. With the new little one, not much time to play it yet. But, yeah, I'm really digging it, too.

is that like competition orange shred? it looks cool
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think so, Tommy. I actually submitted that very pic with the order, for the custom shop to match. The work orders and hang tags all described it simply as "Jeff Beck Orange". Also, in parens was "pumpkin with gold pearl", which I understand is how Dan Lawrence had it spec'd to match. I'm assuming it's a special mix. Not sure if Dan actually shot the paint, though, as a solid color is probably beneath his skills. Thanks for the assist anyway, Dan. what was the wait time?
[/ QUOTE ]
I put the order into the dealer a few weeks after NAMM last year, Tracy. So just about a year.

How far can you pull up on the Floyd, or is it sitting on the body?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's not sitting on the body. There's a fair amount of pull-up, but not as much as a recessed trem. Definitely an old school set-up, just like the SD's I've owned.
That's an awesome guitar! I'd love to have something similar.
Maybe a black pickgaurd with orange pickups, orange binding on the neck, orange inlays (dots or Sharkies), and black binding on the headstock. Call it the "Halloween Guitar".
