DK2 Setup - DFW Area

Hi all! JUst picked up my first Jackson. A DK2 (pics later). Been mostly playing Fenders up to now.

Anyways, my story is that my normal tech is 350 miles away and I am not sure when I will be heading down there and would like to find a good setup guy here in DFW. Just moved here recently so I know very few folks (none that play).

Anyone happen to know of a guy in the DFW area that they trust??

I have gone here a few times as it's just around the corner from work. They guy there does great work.

Kevin did a pretty fine setup for me as well. You all so might want to try Sully (Sullyguitars.com). He's there in Plano, and did a pretty damn good job on my Model 3a. He did just about everything but cut down the tree and paint it.

thanks for the props, kids, but i'm not able to take on any more repair/new work. i've got some to get thru still, and i have less and less time these days.

Dan McCarthy at 9150 Markville Dr. Dallas, TX 75243, has done a great couple of set ups for me. You could always check with him. He was reasonable and fast. His number is 214-724-3789. He has a booth every year at the Dallas Guitar Show doing set-ups, cleaning, and repairs.
