I think a Soloist or even a DK1 in the "one of" vol, p/u, etc. design would be my ultimate guitar. Finish wise I am a blood runs and skulls kind of dude. The ultimate guitar is hard to decide on. I love any of Warren DiMartini's S*rat head Charvels.

So.......anything with one hummer and volume, Floyd and maple board is up my alley for the perfect Jackson.

RR shape, maple neck, ebony fretboard, reverse headstock, neck thru, Mahogany body, Duncan Distorsion and vintage staggered. A 5 way switch (classic toggle with 3 positions, + tapped humbucker, or the outer humbucker coil and the SC), volume and midbooster

I never liked single coil pickups on V's.
I think the ultimate guitar would be Randy's original white pinstripped, follwed closely by bengal SL1 (w/out the middle single coil), & a Charvel Model 2 w/ maple board.

I'm not educated on the collectable end of things, but would have to say the original Rhoads or the Van Halen pre pro.

For me is would be a SLATQH in 24.75 scale with a oiled neck.I would like a pair one with a OFR and the other string thru.They would be the perfect Les Paul killer.

As far as guitars out there all ready.I would say the Archtop Pros.To me they are perfect the short scale ,set neck , ebony , mahogany body and maple top all add up to my Ultimate Jackson that will not break the bank.I am not much for crazy shapes I prefer more traditional style guitars like strats an LPs.

fookinell, i cant believe sombody else remebers warrior..i remember buying the fighting for the earth album when it came out (influenced by the first kerrang kompilation video).what ever hapened to them? (regarding the ultimate jackson...chris holmes's black rr with white bevels,but with 1 hum, floyd, pearl sharkies and red logo).

I think I have their album (Warrior).

I guess I go for the traditional shapes as well.

For those who like the one volume knob option, could it be a push/pull to parrallel the humbucker?
