Pics of some past friends Jacksons/Charvels

I was looking through some old pics, and ran across these. They aren't the best pics, but they are older, and I had to scan them as opposed to coming off the digital camera. The Varoom guitar belonged to Brent Barker, who was the lead guitarist for a band I was in called Renegade. The first pic is from 1987 at our practice space. Pic 2 is from a show on New Years Day of 1988. Pic 3 has guitars owned by a friend named David Carmichael, and a friend of his Mike. My black USA Custom Kelly is on the left. Pic 4 is just a full band shot of the same show as above. I played keys/rhythm guitar, and am buried behind the bassist on the left. The other members were Daren Short-Drums, Jeff Burns-Bass, and Steve DeLong-Vocals. I don't know details on the guitars, but thought they would be nice to look at. Has anyone seen another Jackson with the Varoom graphics? I've lost touch with Brent, and last I heard, he no longer plays at all. Kind of a shame, because he was real good. sup, whooa nice stuff there man! i never saw an exact ya room but i saw a similar graphic on a kelly on ebay a while back i think it was a zap pow graphic and it is now owned by a JCF member that has a killer collection from what ive seen!!!i personally like the red kelly [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] but, they are all awesome of course. That red Kelly is very nice, and I would love to locate the Varoom too. Add those to the 25th King Kelly, a couple Randy Rhoads, a Les Paul, and probably 3 or 4 others I want!

Johnnyryche, it's white pinstripe. Kmanick, that show was at a place in Indianapolis called The Sherwood. It's been torn down in the last 5 years, but it was a cool place to play. Held about 1,000. In 1985 I saw Armored Saint, WASP, and Metallica there. That was cool seeing Metallica in a smaller venue before they really hit big. Forum member huh? Interesting. Also, add a Vinny Vincent V and Randy Rhoads polka dot to my want list. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
