This is a little bit unrelated but I swear I saw this preview for a show called "Made in the USA" or something like when I was on vacation that either is on the same channel that does American Chopper or PBS. Instead of highlighting one business, they went to a different place each week and the preview they were showing was either for Gibson or Fender guitars and they had a bunch of clips of guys working on guitars.

I wouldn't mind watching a television special that would start from the base idea for the custom guitar, then follow it through its creation (up to the point where its delivered). It'd be very interesting to watch.

I saw the "Made in the USA" show where they went to the Gibson factory. It was pretty cool to see the different stages of how a guitar comes together, but all too short. I think there were three other places they went to visit during the course of the show. As a side note, I have the 2003 PRS CD and there is a cool segment on that that takes you through the making of a PRS.

At first, I thought "eh, that's a crappy idea" but now I'm thinking about their other stinkers like "American Beauty Shop" and "American Casino." At least with a show about guitars you can get some hot rod flames.

There is something already in progress.
That is all I can tell you at this time. Jackson guitars is a big part of it as well.

First part of filming at Jackson was finished last week.
