I love kelly shapes after I got used to it, and now I can't stand playing any other shapes standing up.
Let us know if you have issues with it being neck heavy, I've taken note of the wisdom of various individuals on this forum, and now my kelly is in perfect balance without drilling any holes.

Thanks! I might need the help. This is my first non (strat/lp/sg) body guitar I've owned. I'm not to sure if I'll like it - I pretty much bought it for the neck.
Sorry to hear this bro. I have been through this on a JCF-01 Rhoads and it sucks. At least you got a great neck out of the deal and with any luck they'll refund some $$$ as well.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
They say they give refunds but I eat $30 shipping to my house, and $X shipping it back. Unacceptable for there packing job.
They wrapped it in small bubble wrap, then basically wrapped cardboard around it. The place where the top wing is was wide open - tape came unwrapped. A crappy taping job as well, a single layer of tape on the places where cardboard comes together. It was unravelling when I got it.
The guitar floated loosely in the box - nothing to prevent it from floating around. I'm surprised the neck wasn't broken. It might have taken some damage on the tip.
I paid through paypal/Amex. If they give me the slightest grief, I'm calling Amex.
Sorry to hear that Don, it amazes me the way people do things sometimes.Anything can happen shipping but you have to give the package a fighting chance.Anything without a case should be bubble wrapped and double boxed with packing peanuts.
Damn Don, that does suck. With almost 8K transactions and a 99.9% positive rating I have faith that they'll work with you. On the other hand, I'm sure this isn't their first time shipping a guitar so they should know better. Hope it all works out for ya. Keep us posted. My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!
As long as the measurement is 24 3/4" from the nut to the Bridge Saddles, then there is no problem. The performer Kelly has 24 Frets and has a scale length or 25 1/2" though.
It is a fusion neck (inked F U S on the back of the heal). The body pocket is dated "1999. 8. 12". Other ink stamps are "9 1", then "P S 8 T".
Any idea what the body might be?
I still think putting a 24 fret 24 3/4" neck on a 22 fret 25 1/2" body is what's going on here. I compared the Fusion neck to an Aria 25 1/2" neck, and if you line up the heals, fret 22 is not too far off.
