        Well for me, even tho I am a die hard J/C player and collector, it would have to be my 2 gibby's! But if push came to shove (altho as it looks, I can bring both b'cuz Roodyrocker is staying here with his Jackson's so that leaves more room for ME!)I would have to take this...



        This is my '83 Gibson Flying V with the Gibson Tune_o_Matic trem. Its all original except for the Duncan Demon in the bridge! My Mom bought this for me for my 16th birthday...most kids got to drive or got a car, not me, I got a Gibson!! I have always said this one goes to the grave with me...so it might as well go to another planet too!

        But I also HAVE to take this...



        My Gibson Ace Frehley Historic Custom Shop!! Dead mint, never plugged into an amp or played with a pick! I am the original and ONLY owner. Quick funny story about this to show what a die hard guitar geek I am! When this came out I was the manager of a local mom and pop music store here in NE Ohio, some of you may have shopped there, New York Music. I ran the branch in Warren but the main store was in Boardman, they are going out of business, BTW, no J/C on sale yet tho, we have checked! Anyway I was driving a total POS 1984 Cavalier that had a million miles and was just beat to hell, but she ran like a rapped ape! So here I am driving a total POS and this Ace comes in and I have a chance to get it at wholesale. So in my infinite wisdom I took out a loan for the money (it was over $3k) and bought the guitar instead of a new or better car!!! Now if THAT isnt commitment to the craft and deserving of a trip off this planet, what is???

        Ok, I'm done!

                    I know, I know...I can make it even MORE sick for you, it sits in the case in the box it shipped in! Ya i dont use a pick on it, Iknow its twisted. Sometimes I get SO jacked and I wanna play it and take it to a gig and I think, man if anything happened I would FREAK, i just couldnt handle that one bit.

                    Your right, we buy em to play em and all my others get played except this one...I want to tho, oh man do I want to, the top on that thing KILLS me everytime I look at it!

                      I do kinda feel like a traitor, but after years of flatly rejecting the very idea of owning an Ibanez, I have to admit that I just love this Jem! It's changed my position on EMGs vs. passive pickups, neck-throughs vs. bolt-ons (as long as the bolt-on has an AANJ) and the utility of more than 1H (I do continue to hit the dang middle pickup with my pick, though - still working on that).
