An asteroid will hit the Earth and wipe us all out. The govt. secretly built a spaceship to save a few humans and seek a new world. You were one of the lucky ones selected in the lottery to go. Cargo and living space are limited, so you can only bring one guitar with you. Everything else in your collection will be left behind and destroyed.

i'd bring my magic charvel gold sparkle elvis strat. i'd bring that before most human beings and loved ones in fact.
i'd die and let it go in my place if it came down to it. i would die for it, yes i would. but i could shoot a laser from it an blow up the asteroid anyway, so everybody is safe. not to worry. it is a magic guitar. i mean it.

Two weeks ago this would have been a no brainer. It would have been my 83 strathead. But now the 84 Blue Ice pointy that I got from Josie5 has actually sat my 83 down.
In this family though seniority still counts so my 83 gets to be saved.
