I want to see some real world pics of Gun Metal Grey guitars, especially in natural light. Soloists and Dinkys are preferred, but any others are welcome, so post 'em if you've got 'em!

GMG is a funny color.. the original gmg was actually a blue/green grey and the newer is more grey. It was told to us @ NAMM there was no definitive color code in the early days it was just mixed up by eye ...
Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes!~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~
I've seen a few pics of guitars with the older finish and know what you mean about the blue-greenish tone. I like the older finishes pretty well, but as far as the new GMG, I've only seen a few stock pics of a SL1 and a DXMG, but they were not the best pics in the world. That's the color I'm really interested in seeing.

Mulder, they really nailed the Gunmetal color on your guitar. That thing looks just like a blued gun barrel! I love the maple board with that color, simply awesome guitar!
RR05xx, that Rhoads is sweet!
Cool SL1, Whiplash! I agree that is definitely a cool alternative to black. I'm not very big on black guitars, but the new GMG is a color I think I could work with!
Thanks for the pics and info everybody!

Here is my former GMG Soloist. I loved the color, and will own one again. I simply could not tolerate the recessed Floyd. Otherwise this was a typically superb Jackson.
Yep, its a Powerball! It really is cool! The clean sound is not the warmest on earth, but great on funk though. The crunch is rather smooth, and both lead channels are... mmmmmm!
More gain and sharper than a Dual Rectifier!
