• Jackson w/Reverse Headstocks

Looking for a Jackson with Reverse Headstock & Sharkfins. Floyd or Stringthru would be OK - Prefer neckthrough or setneck, but will go bolt-on if that's all there is.

Which models should I be looking for? I tried a search and came up empty

If anyone has one, please comment and list pro's/con's. Thanks in advance

You should probably post this in the classifieds. That's where buying/selling ads belong.

Al is looking for input on reverse headstocks. it doesn't sound like he's asking for one.

From the ones I've had, tuning can be a pain, but not that bad. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. As far as USA production models go, I think your limited to the DR2 from the mid to late 90's, but I could be wrong.

Reverse headstocks are cool.

Thanks Jim,

How are you liking that LP Custom by the way?

Is it safe to assume there are DR1, DR3 & DR4 models as well? Were there ever RR's or KV's with reverse headstocks at some point?

I've got a King with a reverse head that I've posted pix of before.... I'm having trouble with the Search function.

The DR2 has no sharkies and it's a bolt-on...
Mmmmm, the XTRR is what you need *dribble*

AFAIK there was never a DR-1...
DR-3 still exists today
there was a dr-5 , but I don´t think ever a 4

Re: Jackson w/Reverse Headstocks

DXMG would be the best import... only MG series with sharkfins (fully bound)

XTRR would be the best USA.

Both have reverse headstocks ... XTRR is neckthrough.

+one on the DXMG I've played a few on separate continents, UK and California, and each time I was highly pleased with the feel, Jackson imports are generally good quality.

I'm contemplating getting a RR3, andim probably gonna blakc out my KVX10 mmm.
