I wanted the leaf inlays on the green one, but Fender won't do it. I would have settled for fins, or no inlays, or iron crosses...just about anything but that stupid pentagram.

I played both protos and they are killer. If you like the way they look, you'll love the way they play/sound.

Re: Opinions on the Signature Series?

I was wondering, now that the signature page has been updated, it says the Christian Olde Wolbers Signature are 3 piece mahogany neck thru... I though they were bolt ons ?
Also, I thought the Kevin Bond ones were supposed to be 3 piece mahogany neck thru, but it seems they're "only" neck thru (not 3 piece construction)... I thought it was better advised for a mahogany neck to be 3 piece constructed.
Are the specs of the Jackson Website unaccurate or were the original specs unaccurate ?

it'd be awesome if that 7' string would be neck through ( and binding maybe ) but i don't think that the info is accurate .

well , look at the specs on the site - i've never seen a 7 string that is coming with 9-42 gauge strings

Neck Thru?

Jackson website is always confusing.
They put wrong information and pics all the time.

Maybe they mixed the information with SLSMG?

I'd be happy to see that Christian's signature guitar with Neck thru than a bolt on.
That would be killer too.
