Re: Another Mike Learn Design - Jackson Chain Gang

Well Kev, that's very cool and all, but as you know, I'm not a flames kind of guy, "everyone" has flames... Obviously, no disrepect intended, nor warranted, but ya know... I met Mike at NAMM and saw some of his work in person, and have no doubt he's capable of doing the job, but it's all about timing and if he even wants to, not a conversation for this thread I don't think. That RR is bad ass tho.

I'm looking for something along these lines and something to incorporate my company into the mix (as "you" know)

Up for the challenge Mike? I like the Alsa Corp ChromeFX paints, and that's where I started this project, so I'm partial to that effect ( the ELF bike )... Let me know if you have any interest or not...

Mike - You ever tag a railcar? I saw one last summer that had "Learn" on it (actually I saw several that had "Learn" on them in various styles )
Might start taking my camera out with me just in case I run across them again
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Ya know... I sorta feel like a tool here

I must admit, I've never checked out your site Mike, until this morning.... Oh my.... I've seen a handful of guitars, and the flame bike, but the sh!t on your site is just that.... The Sh!t! Awesome work man, truly awesome!

We'll be talking a bit later today. I just hope you can get me in sort of quickly as I wasted the first quarter of this year dealing with a couple of punks that wouldn't know an airbrush if it blew em in the face. And last year, the guys that originally did my bike dicked around and did nothing to it for 4 months during the off season, so I've been jonsing for a new look for well over a year and half. I know Dan Lawrence pretty well and we've talked lately, but he's so slammed, who knows when he'll get to it, but I am going to send him some metal in advance and let him take his time with it, so if I get it back in a year, that'd be fine with me. But, I need a fix for this year...

                    Talk to you soon bro...

                    "Up for the challenge"... DOH!!!!!!!!

Just get ahold of your local Jackson dealer. It hasn't been done in a run of any numbers as of yet. But I am sure Mike Kotzen would schedule some if there is a demand. It can be applied to any body style as well.

                          Thanks again,

Cool graphic. Not my ball of wax, per se, but VERY nicely done anyway. Looking forward to seeing more cool stuff at NAMM.
