Wait, THOSE ARE NEW SHAPES!! NOT Kelly Stars!

The lower cutaway horn is NOT the Jackson pointy head shape like the Kelly and Kelly Star have! It's a sharp point, and the shape is very BC Rich Ironbirdish!!! Very nice!

Fastars? That's what they'll call the Jackson "Ironbirds"? What does the name mean?

Yeah, the double sharks look like a mirror-imaged regular sharkfin plus an extra one. Or, it could be a block inlay like Gibson Les Paul Customs, but with a "cat's eye" through it! Neat!

That 3x3 would be an AT most likely. If those inlays are like my NASL, it's an abalone strip through a block inlay (actually mine are paralellograms) - notice the "Custom Shop" label right in the corner of the head? Betcha even money those inlays don't make it to the production model [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

And you're right, that's not a Kelly Star - it looks a lot like the one Chris Holmes and Oz Fox had [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I love the cutaway scallops/scoops on that Dinky. Looks like a new finish to me... sort of an "ocean swirl", sort of!

Regarding the 'Fastars', Soloist1 nailed it, those are for the guitarist for Jet Black. Look close at the two headstock pics and you can see his signature screened on. I could not make out the name, so I asked a booth person and he said the guys name (which I forgot...sorry, I think first name was Dan or D-something) and said those guitars were made for him. The Jackson guy didn't give me the impression it was a new line though..but you would think they are as the signature was screened on like the Marty Friedman Kellys. All four of the guitars use Kahler pro cam trems, so I asked where did they dig those up from, and that's when he mentioned they have a pretty decent inventory of them. That hologram one was trippy, it looked really "3-D deep".
