Dude...that's SO totally me as well!! Not that I don't grow fond of one or two of my beloved axes, but I feel guilt not using ones that are "more minty" than others, and I usually end up parting ways with those.

Well...now I stand with one and 1/2 (and no Jacksons to speak of) currently! This is the first time since 1992 that I've been without a Jackson of some sort, I'm getting depressed at that fact...VERY depressed!

all i can say is hold on to as many as you can, for if there is a time where you have to let some go unwillingly , the withdrawals can be near suicidal. make sure you go to meetings regularly, or in other words hang around here alot for support, but stay out of the "look what i just got" threads , they can be dangerous.

As of yesterday, I have 14. I don't even have to justify the first five. Those just cover the Basic Needs TM. I can make really righteous excuses for the other nine too. I even have my wife convinced. Of course I'll have to invent new ones for #15. #16 will be easy--my Birthday is the 16th. 17, hmmm, what will I do for #17? i have an announcement, i am done playing guitar. i haven't played in almost two years anyway, so it's not that hard of a decision. hold on to your axes gentlemen, the day my favorite one which i did not sell, got ripped off is the day i died. me and guitar have never been the same. hold on to them hard my good friends, cuz they are your friends.

nah, it's definitely me talking. i'm done. i've put in enough hours for 5 lives anyway. seriously, the day my best was stripped from me was the day that changed me forever. i used to bring that guitar to bed with my wife sometimes. it always came with me to work and wherever else , like linus' blanket. my son is gone, and so is my want to play. it's really no big deal, it's just some jackass who's quitting after many years. it's a relief to tell you the truth.
