    Alrighty then. This particular guitar has always looked too plain to me, so I was looking for a way to make it a bit more shiny....nevermind.

      Why don't you swap all the hardware out to chrome gradually? Start with the rings? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

          If your going for a complete stealthy look, then I'd go with black.
          Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

                Well, here's the irascible, impossible-to-photograph bitch in person. (Most of the photos I tried to take were either a mass of fingerprints or a red sparkle blur. This is the best I can do. Sorry.)


                At some point, she had Jackson pickups installed. I'm convinced that if I heard someone playing through speakers with wet cones made of supermarket shopping bags, it would sound just like those pickups. The EMGs are a big improvement, which is why I'll need some Budman EMG conversion rings. Why go to the trouble? This oddball guitar has the fastest shred-friendly setup I've ever played.

                  Generally, I like contrast--chrome for dark guitars and black for light guitars, but all the hardware has to match. My first choice would be to switch out all the hardware for chrome, but if you don't want to do that, I'd keep it all black.
