Score! Collen Archtop Pro in strange solid burst

Yesterday I received the latest addition to the family! I definitely took a chance on it, since the seller only had one blurred pic that looked like it was taken by a satellite in orbit. Anyhow, about the only thing that could be seen in the pic was that it had some kind of cherry burst finish, so I assumed that it´s got the typical japanese flame maple top. I jumped on it, and got if for about $500. But I was wrong, it is a solid yellow and red burst with some pretty heavy metallic sparkle. I´ve never seen anything like it, and it really catches your eye. Another odd feature is the rounded tip on the headstock, just like Phil´s own pointies.

Yeah, I remember that! Didn´t I try to help you buy it? He asked ALOT more for it two years ago, though. Probably in the ballpark of $1100-$1200. It´s obviously generated virtually zero interest, and this time around I was the only one that wanted it.

And no...it´s in Sweden, like me. Not Switzerland.

This paintjob sounds similar. It is a blueish green base coat, with the trans-blue clear coat and multi-color sparkle burst. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It has 29 frets (I think Phil, Brooks, and myself are the only ones with the extra frets), and the same rounded headstock tip.

Noodles, it isn't really anything like your proto. It's a professional series from Japan, probably a one-off or custom order.
I had the picture from the seller, but deleted it along time ago. Wake up Toru!

Nope, it´s nothing like that one. It hasn´t got the big flakes, more like a extra sparkly metallic. And it´s like the regular kind of cherry sunburst, with the fading from yellow to red and all that, but just plain solid red and yellow instead of transparent.
