Fellow Metalheads, How Do You Tune?

ive been tuning down a whole step, and then dropping the e an additional step on most of my original tunes. c-g-c-f-a-d
how 'bout you guys? i'm considering coming back up a half step and writing more without the drop on the low e. theres obviously stuff you can and cannot physically do with each tuning. just curious to see what you guys are doing, tuning, string gauges, etc. and hear opinions and what not. i know there are a lot of very knowledgable people here, so lets have it! Well on my Jackson i tune down to B standard. But as i use a 7 string aswell, it's just E standard with the added low B

I like to do a drop d flat.

Tune all strings half step down (flat), then drop the low e to flat D.

D mostly. Full step down.

My fave is C#, down 1 1/2 steps, but I also use B. Not a big fan of dropping the e to d

B on all guitars, low to high: B E A D F# B, gauges low to high: .52 .42 .32 .24w .16 .12.
Works really fine and the EMG's handle the tuning very well.

E or E flat, mainly. One guitar is in Drop D flat

C# standard - is good for fast playing but also gives me the heaviness ("tuning" heaviness ) for slow stuff.

and the big plus is that there are many death metal bands (ok, not only DM ) that tune to C# and i can play along their songs

Whole step down on a Jackson USA Fusion (DGCFAD). Since the Fusion has the Gibson scale-length, I'm using D'Addario EXL-140's: 10 13 17 30 42 52 (light top/heavy bottom). I've been experimenting with the drop C also (CGCFAD).
