Thanks everyone. It will mean a lot to us just to have a good time in Indy with friends. As far as I'm concerned, my friends are my family and to me weddings are all about family.

Bachelor party?? You might just need to get here to Chicago within the next month if there is going to be one. By the time NAMM rolls around, I'll already be married. (though all but one of my part of the wedding party already live in Indianapolis)

Actually we blindsided everyone with the news. The wedding will be small and simple. Parents, grandparents, a couple siblings, and the wedding party with a small gathering afterward. We're not registered anywhere as far as I know. (you'll have to talk to the boss about that)

Sam, not sure about the military motif anymore, but we'll all have to definitely get together and celebrate!

Oh... And at NAMM, I'd like to see strathead Charvels with Floyds! (maybe the FMIC guys will see this thread and decide to give me one as a wedding gift... HEY, it could happen... [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] )

Ah, you wouldn't want me there for the bachelor party anyway, Tekky. The last one I went to - which I was in charge of organizing - resulted in a disaster for the groom. (...Not of my doing, though.) He was "3P'd" - plastered, puking, and passed out - before the girls could even arrive.

It was a sad sight to observe. Down for the count, lying on the floor next to the white porcelin god, vomit in the bowl, and the strippers smacking his unconscious ass in a vain attempt to wake him up. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] (I have pictures of this, BTW. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] ) I had to invoke the substitute bachelor rule. Luckily, we had another guy in attendance, who's wedding was also coming up. Then everyone else had a great time. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

As to Summer NAMM: Floyd'd multiple-PU stratheads, of course. Preferably custom orders, please. And I'd like to see a less expensive, non-sutainer version of the PC1.

SL1H 1 pickup Soloist. Mahogany body and neck select series. I know they have the SL2H, but that has 2 hums and chrome hardware, I am talking black hardware and all choices of finishes, even nataural mahogany. My CS Soloist will be like this, but with many tweaks. I would like to see the JJ-2 back, just call it something different. jack.

I dunno, sounds like a pretty good bachelor party to me! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] When I was a best man, we had the bachelor party the night before the wedding, since people were flying in to participate--we managed to get the groom sick on cigar smoke (he was a scary shade of green during his wedding...), and we also got pictures of him dancing with some chick, which of course were distributed to the bride. I'm a cruel bastard, I guess...
