in a way it's really a good thing, I wasn't real thrilled at being a Jr. anything, especially at my age. but hell its their ball their rules. I am sure I got involved with more threads than I normally would have. One thing I really like about thIs forum, if you get out of line, someone out there won't hesitate to bitch slap ya and set ya straight. as you,farmer,i wasn't thrilled,either..as a 36 year old father of 4,"junior" is a rather bitter pill to swallow..But in all honesty,if you look at the quality of the people who post here regularly,the 100 post rule probably weeds a lot of malcontents in the process..If anything,I commend JCF for having the policy and for enforcing it so well..kinda glad i can't get to the classifieds yet...I have an 18 year old starting college next year...well...at least my wife is glad.... I find it absolutely hilarious that anyone would be bothered by their Junior status.
It's not like you have to wear a dunce cap in public, or a badge, or sign your checks "Junior". It's an internet forum!

I think its a pretty good idea in a way. I wish I could see it but will patiently wait until my 100th post. Its good for me, I'm a gear whore and it keeps money in my pockets.

i also can't tell you how many internet forums i'm a junior member, or newbie, or whatever, on. if something like that truly offends your delicate sensibilities, i'd recommend getting some real problems! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

as far as the actual classifieds forum itself, don't build yourself up for a huge disappointment; it's mainly tire kicking, lowballing, "i wish i had the dough" posts, and people asking for "bro" deals. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Ain't that the truth. It is sort of like Ebay but with everything on a Buy Now or Trade and the players you are dealing with pretty much know EXACTLY what they are selling or trading. There are the rare good deals but for the most part it is a hardcore environment. I love it although the Amplifier/Effects section is by far my favorite.
