Mike, I want to thank you for creating such an incredible masterpiece.... being from an artist background, I can definately understand what work and intensity went into doing a piece like this.... You have captured extensively well, not only the facial and slow but methodical tendencies of how a Koi swims, but also the underwater-like quality of them in a pond.... very exciting work.....
Being of Chinese descent, this is a beautiful piece that I would seriously consider for my collection..... That being said, it seems like this fish may have got away.... to VanOsbourne.... or has it? If not, my order is in ....
Again Mike, a pleasure to see a stunnig piece like this.... It definately shows your creative ability.... I say keep breaking the mold which I am sure you will...

Im flattered by your observation. Thanks!
Amazing!!! Not only is Jackson/Charvel again producing great guitars like they did in the 80s but there is also something totally new and unique coming out of the Custom Shop constantly. These are exciting times for a J/C fan like myself. With Dan and Mike working for Jackson anything is possible.
Hey Mike, I just sent my deposit to Matt for one of the DOC Rhoads. I can hardly wait to see your work in person.
I'd also like to talk to you about a Soloist I want to refinish at some point. Who handles that side of the business, you or your wife?
Keep 'em coming man, your stuff is beyond amazing, and definately holding with Jackson's tradition of amazing custom paintjobs.

Jackson has always been a "cutting edge" company, but we are firmly grounded by our history.
DRL has been in the Jackson family for many years and will continue to paint a wide variety of graphics for us, both new and old.
When I saw Mike Learn's work, I knew it would be a great addition to our family. Mike has a very different style from Dan, giving us the ability to offer a wider range of styles to choose from. I am thrilled to be able to have both of these guys working with Jackson/Charvel.
To both Dan and Mike:
