LEAST favorite finishes/graphics?

i have never, ever ever ever been a fan of Eerie Dess swirl. one of the ugliest finishes in my opinion. never liked hot rod flames either, always seemed too cliche.

what about you guys? what are some finishes that most people like but you just can't stand?

TBH, i never liked any flame finishes up tuntill recently. now a really NEED one to still the GAS

and i started to really hate solid color black finishes

Rainbow Crackle, EDS, Pavo Purple...

I don't like any of the standard Jackson graphics, except for maybe the Warrior Warbird stuff.

Jackson camo sucks too.

Mike Learn is doing some great artwork, and for the first time ever I'm just seeing gfx after gfx that I wouldn't mind owning.

I've always avoided graphics on guitars - what may seem really cool today suddenly becomes an 80's bouffant & spandex tomorrow. I've always been a fan of seeing the wood in a guitar - stained or unstained, but preferably flame or quilt maple. Other than that, simple stuff - I've got a black flying V & a Zakk Wylde Bullseye & both of those are pretty cool. Ageless & tasteful. Recently, though, I've been looking around & some of the Snakeskin graphics are excellent - there's a Copperhead I particularly like. The Mike Learn stuff is fantastically well done, but generally not really my thing - but I'll keep an open mind as I'm starting to get into the Biohazard & Thumbprint graphics..............

I also hate the rainbow crackle...

Also, not too big of a fan when it comes to the beer-logos

Anything that's too dark, gothic and metal i.e. skulls, snakes, graveyards, devils etc etc etc.

In general I´m not to fond of graphics, even though there´s many really cool ones too.

The one I hate is the camo on Christian Olde Wolbers new Dinky. PUKE!!

Not a fan of the hot rod flames.
Strangely though, I like the EDS on the soloist, but it doesn't do anything for me on the KV or Rhodes.

The swirl graphics all suck AFAIC. I also dislike red, transparent green and purple a lot.

Solid black is neutral and nice. It will fit nicely into any context, and looks great with all hardware colors.
