Here's a Charvel spectrum
I couldn't stand the single in the bridge so modded it
I tried a JT-6 in there but have put back the original schaller. A great player.

Some more differences between the Spectrum and model 8. The spectrum has one more screw in the pickguard and the schaller is recessed. The model8 has almost a top mount schaller. Also the Spectrum has a countour on the back of the body for the neck. The model 8 does not. The model 8 has a JS1000 preamp and that is what the toggle switch is for. The model 8 also has a white/black/white pickguard and the spectrum is solid white.
Here is a spectrum in the same finish as my model 8 if you see any diffrences that I did not mention please point them out. I am assuming that my model 8 had a white/black/white truss rod cover to match the pickguard the spectrum has a solid white truss rod cover.

Very intresting look what I found these are transitional models it seams but according to the owners one is a spectrum and one is a Charvel. Notice the differences in pickguards. Mine is still unique because of the pickguard shape. Edited because I had to change images to lonks sorry.
