Incredible words Sully...

For anyone who hasn't yet, please read the journal of our own Hellraiser's experience with Robbin. Every time I read it I'm touched and I always have to wipe a little moisture from my eye.

Where can we find said journal?

Once again, one among many reasons I love this place.
Wonderful thread.
I think most have been influenced one way or another by Ratts guitarists.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Wonderful Sully, and it brought a tear to my eye as well. Honestly before i came here to the JCF I thought Warren was THE player of Ratt. Now I obviously know different. I am humbled by your post man and i hope that mine wasn't taken as disrespect towards him. He obviously means a lot to everyone here and i would feel awful if i upset anyone.

I miss Ratt for what they WERE, and never had after Robbin exited the band. RIP, bro.

Sorry that I missed this post yesterday. The 'King' was my guitar idol when I started playing. Hell, 1985 when I was 17, I sold vacuume sweepers to buy a new Red King V like his.
He had the best slow-hand lead style in my opinion.... The writing of Ratt's harmony solos, the solo for "Looking for Love" kicks-ass!!!

I will fire up Big Red #09 tonight thru the Marshall in his memory.

Seriously, I didn't know who was, but it was a great story to read. I'll look him up and read a little about his bio.
He sounds like he was a great guy, as well as a player.

Does anyone have the audio interview that Rob Lane had on his site. That is another "must" for Robbin's fans.

well, there used to be a link to it on jacksoncharvelworld.net, but i can't find it. i've listened to some of it, and personally, i can't get through it; rob seems like such an opportunistic guy, and that he was taking advantage of circumstances.

the parts i've heard take place in a sushi restaurant (he loved the stuff), and he just talks to him about his guitars, which is cool, but you can tell that robbin is upset about the fact that he didn't have them anymore, and.....ah, i dunno, the whole thing just had a bad vibe to it. to me.
