Re: Pointy Guitars.....Why Can\'t I Embrace Them???

I'm a Strat, Dinky or Les Paul guy. I did own a couple of Kellys and a Warrior before that were cool, but I didn't like how the Kelly tilted out from my body and towards the floor, the Warrior I didn't like how it seemed to be shifted too far to the left and had me reaching out more to play chords uncomfortably. Sitting was no problem, I just didn't care for them standing. Maybe one day I'll try a Rhoads or KV, but for right now I'm happy being a traditional shape guy.

I hated these pointy guitars in the past.
I used to only play Strat/Dinky.
Now I enjoy all of these such as KV, RR,Star..
They play and feel differently but I enjoy the differences.

With those moobs, your shape is anything but traditional.

I have 3 Rhoads, and I love them. I find it hard to play my Charvel standing up anymore...it's just not comfortable like the RR's.

Overall, pointy guitars are bad-ass!!!

And instantly portray a bad-ass image (even when photographed just by themselves)!!!

Different courses...
