Re: Boston Stores?
2 words: MATT'S MUSIC!! Matt's in Weymouth (around 15 miles out of the city) but he come thoroughly recomended....Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Re: Boston Stores?
I don't go to Berklee but I go to MIT and play Jacksons. Boston is a great city for students. I don't have a car here either, so I've no idea where any guitar stores are located. I want to get out to Matt's sometime this summer if I can find a way out there..

Re: Boston Stores?
WAY back when I was in Boston there were a few stores right across the street from Berklee.... Daddy's Junky Music on Mass Ave. and LaSalle Music (or something like that) right around the corner. I guess they are not there anymore? That's where I bought my first Charvel/Jackson (a model 4)... good times!

Actually I lied....Daddy's was there, but there was nothing at all worth looking at in the store.

Aint it the truth (20 years ago that Daddys had Charvels like you read about, but sadly, not today, they are not even up to guitar center's low standard IMHO).
If you are "T" limited (public transportation only) - take the Green Line "B" train outbound above ground from Boston (you can get them starting at the Government Center or Park Street T stops. There is a guitar center right on the line (it stops like every 100 yards so just keep an eye out - it will be on your left. It is not half bad sometimes (they do buy used Jacksons/amps etc. so sometimes that have some cool stuff)."I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"
