That's a sweet bunch, man. How do you dig the SL2H-MAH? Is it really a big difference over a standard SL2H? I think if I pull the trigger on another Jackson, it might be one of those.

the SL2H-Mah ( and I didn't know it was MAH until recently,
I had to scrape away some of the black paint inside the
trem route to see the dark wood, I bought it used) is very
full sounding. Probably the most "metal" sounding guitar of
the group and by that I mean Megadeth type metal sound. I
don't think the difference is huge but it definitely is
warmer sounding than Alder. The chunkiest sounding guitar
of the four [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
Oh and I'm loving #6026!!!!!!
And today the pool was definitely a huge plus!! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I love the trans black SL2 MAH. How different does the Soloist sound with a mahogony body as oppossed to the normal alder body?

The GMW is doing well thank you. I had the pot swapped out for a 250 instead of the 500 that was in there(tap on this one too) and it sounds a little warmer than it did when I got her.
Chuck the snakeskin is the guitar I was having pickup trouble with. It was a bad pickup, I grabbed an SH14 custom custom and now it sounds killer.
I still don't know if it's Poplar, Alder, Maple, Basswood......? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
