Re: My guitars (pics)
Thanks. The gold does look good, doesn't it? I recently had the Carvin pups changed to DiMarzios (Super D and Super 2) and there's an extra volume and tone control in place of the old coil tap switches, and the three-way switch is a Petrucci switch for getting the inner coils on in the middle position. Re: My guitars (pics)
Thanks, Chuck. Yep, I wanted my Strat with a hardtail, so this fit the bill. It's an '01, all original, Duncans (Pearly Gates Plus and '59... and they're parchment which is a slight off-white) with super five-way switching.
1. bridge humbucker
2. inner coils
3. both hums
4. top coil of neck
5. full neck humI feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: My guitars (pics)
Thanks, man. I really dig the Schecter, very nice Korean made guitar. I just got it recently, took the Duncan Designs out for a Duncan Custom and DiMarzio Blaze, and it's even got a push/pull coil tap on the tone pot. It plays pretty comfortably and the neck isn't too thick. It's definitely got more of a rounder back shape than my old Ibanez RG7620, and that's a good thing since I don't care for real thin necks anymore.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
