What I want is A two hum, reverse headstock strat style with the erie dess swirl job, any luck on this one without going to the custom shop?

The DKMG cobalt blue swirl is the closest one.

hmmmm, thanks man! But I'm not fond of that one really....Do you know where I could get the paint job done?
I had a DK2 in erie dess, and I was gunna swap the neck for a reversed, but I don't really like single coils, so I sold it in hopes to get something I liked more, I'm even thinking of mutting something to get what I want.... just need paint.

Guitar Center did a special run on SLSMG's with the EDS paint job. If you live near one, you might want to look into one of those as they are discounting them very steeply.

I've got a good one, what are the chances of getting a reverse headstock neck with a maple board and sharkfins in 25.5?

Without going to the custom shop? Ebay on a lucky day perhaps. AFAIK, there has never been a maple with Sharkies USA Select or production import. Then again, I don't pay much attention to maple necks.

There used to be an import Dinky Reverse model that had a maple fretboard, but no sharkfins

You can try getting a batch of LE's fired up, but that'll take luck.

I'm thinking of waiting for warmoth to start doing Jackson necks, what do you guys think of this? there was another thread about this, but i can't find it...
