it depends on the Deal Brad has with Jackson. when an employee or endorsee designs a guitar that becomes property of the company, unless otherwise agreed upon. as a graphic designer same thing if i design something i dont own it the company i work for does. they have the right to do with it what they want.

That's what I would've thought here. Maybe FMIC's conditions for CS stuff are different than they were before Fender? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] (my DW was one of the final batch of guitars to leave the CS before Fender)
