  • different rhoads guitars need help

    like the rhoads customs the black one with gold hardware where are they made and wat is the price range now if u buy one used?

    student rhoads where are they made and wat is the price range now used about?

    pcs rhoads where were they made and wat is the price range now for one used?
    im sry for asking but i really need to know.

    They are not made anymore. They WERE made in San Dimas and starting from 87 in Ontario.

    Custom and Student refers to models made in the eighties.

    A Custom would be sharks, ebony, etc and whatever other features. A student is considered to be a more stripped down model: dots, etc.

    Custom Rhoads in good condition usually fetch upwards of $1200

    Students will go for less.

    A usually correct rule is that the SD ones will fetch more than their ontario counterparts.

    PCS Rhoads are Player Choice Rhoads and they're a special edition, made to specs of the 'players' which fetch A LOT OF BUCK, so they'll cost ya.

        No, definitly not.

        A student is essentially a hand-made USA Custom guitar. An rr5 is a japanese import guitar, with plastic inlays.


        The student prevails, but the look might not be for everyone.

          The student Rhoads was a custom shop guitar, while the RR5 is a mass produced model. Good luck finding a Student though...it's been 15 years since they stopped making them...
