i have a warwick rockstand that holds 5, and then 2 single stands (since explorers dont fit the rockstand, and its full anyway).

I'm using a 7 guitar Rockstand, and then a couple that I rarely play (or are awaiting maintenance) are in cases or boxes.

I keep 17 guitars hanging on the wall, two on stands, two propped against a wall, and 10 are stored in their cases in a walk in closet.

I keep all my guitars in their own cases when I'm done using them. They're always indoors and out of the sun.

[/ QUOTE ] Same here. Every once in a while I will leave one on a stand for easy access, but 99 percent of the time they are safely in their cases.

If I had a spare room I would do the wall hanger thing, but I am cramped right now.

No man, I totally feel for you. I sold at least 2 of my fav. guitars on ebay recently. At I would have kept them in their cases if it wasn't for the reasons you know... [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I keep mine in their cases stacked on top of each other. I've always wondered if this was a good thing or not--especially for the bottom guitar [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I have 2 stacks with about 7 guitars in each stack.

Not a good thing Joe!!The weight of all the other guitars & their cases is not good for the bottom guitars & can cause permanent damage to necks,etc.!!
It's reccomended that they be lined up like books on a shelf bro!!

All I can say is WOW!!!
Some of you guys have some pretty serious collections.
I'm only up to 6 guitars right now and currently building #7... she's out for paint right now.
All of mine stay in their respective cases except for my strat. It's always within reach just in case the urge to play hits.
