• What is a GC-37BC s/n# 9665919

Is this a USA or Import? MOP "Jackson" but no other words on the headstock (no "Made in U.S.A. so I'm guessing it is an import).

Looks like a dual hum dinky bolt on with a carved top.

    Any ideas?

37th anniversary guitar center edition. i don't remember if they were imports or not, but my guess is that they were.

Yep, import 37th Anniversary Guitar Center Exclusive in Black Cherry. They looked sweet, and I'd say $300 is a very nice price for one.

I'd link to the auction but that's a no-no. It's gone for over 4 days and no bids. It's in rough shape (rusty, missing nut clamps and a knob) but nothing a little TLC can take care of.

I asked if a case was included - no responce back.

where do you see that linking the auction is a no no? granted, not in this particular forum, but there's nothing wrong with posting a link to an active auction, provided it's not yours.

                I guess I just assumed it was a no-no.

Not my auction, so here it is with 6h 15m left.

                http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

No case included (I heard back from the seller).

I can't tell if the inlays are real MOP or MOTO plastic. I'm no longer interested but maybe someone else wants it.

Also, why celebrate year 37 with an anniversary edition? What year was the 37th anniversary (or, what year is this guitar?).

I have one of these, pretty nice. The only bummer is the 'Mother of Toilet Bowl' inlays. It has such a nice logo, and then not so nice plastic shark fins. Here's a recent completed auction, sold for $300, in better shape and not missing parts. You can get a better feel for the sharkfins from these pics, and also see the Made in Japan sticker on the neck heel.

There's one in really nice shape at GC Brea. Been there for a long time

Black Cherry? It's definitely a purple color.
