Harry Perry is a well known VB local, there used to be a giant mural on the wall adjacent to the youth hostel in VB which shows him as well (I don't know if it's still there), he even put out a record on Surfdog Productions in the mid '90s.

The Charvel is a pre-pro, and it had its original neck on until 1995. Don't know what happen to it afterwards though.

I actually spoke to Harry on the phone one day. He sent me his phone number after I emailed him about the guitar.

He told me that it has no plate, it is a pre pro era model. The orignal neck broke, but he still has it. The new neck was done by Carruthers (sp?)

He also told me that his daughter's tuition was due and he would sell me the guitar with the original neck included for $30,000 - $40,000.........

He is a legend in his own mind.

That is a true story.
