Who created the "Jackson" logo?

It's clearly the best logo I've ever seen on a guitar. IT's one of the reasons I love Jacksons this much [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] And I wonder who created it? Does it exist since the beginning? Or does it have an early version?

For all the original poster knows, Grover Jackson could of outsourced the work for the logo. It isn't such a stupid question.

Agreed. The original Jackson logo was Grovers signature, but then it was standardized and refined a few times. I'm not sure who actually designed the final version.
