How about fret markers with crossed calvary swords or battle names? Antietam, Shilo, Gettysburg, etc.. in script.
I wonder what custom fret markers cost?

Crossed Sabers probably would not cost too much 250 or 300 upcharge at the most I would think. You could even have the sword tips done in red heart abalone for a "bloody" sword effect.

I tried to do that one too but the picture was the wrong size and part of the Metallica logo would show on the top of the guitar. This was on the Rhoads model. Looks cool though. Nah!
