Here's one I'm actually in the process of building.

I sucked it into Photoshop to kinda get purple sunburst.
It's close to what the paint will look like.
The back and sides are going to be ink black with a purple burst top. Got the color idea from Phil's new strathead PC-1. I haven't decided if I want to refinish the headstock or not. The neck is from a PS-2, so it wouldn't hurt any value if I did choose to repaint it.
The body is from a beat-up JDR-94 I found, the neck is a PS-2 neck from ebay I got for $40. New EMG 81, Gotoh SG tuners, JT580 bridge. It's my first attempt at making a custom so I figured I would start with cheap body parts in case I royaly screwed it up.
I will post pics of the real deal when it's done.

Something a little bit different than what I personally would order from the custom shop, but I thought you all might dig it.

I think this one would be alot neater looking if you could do color bevels on a trans top (like trans gray bevels). Like one of the ideas I had was a star or kelly star with trans red top and burnt trans orange bevels, abalone flame inlay on bloodwood, flame koa neck and body. Sort of like a "fire" theme. Thats the scary thing about this custom shop generator. It gets you dreaming about stuff you could never afford [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
