Re: Was there ever a mohagany DK style bolt-on body?
Closest you'll find are the Lacewood/Flamed Maple Guitar Center Anniversary Dinkys and the Cedro (Indian Mahogany) bodies.
But I've not heard of any bolt-on J/C production models (Import or USA) that had Honduran Mahogany or Korina (African Mahogany) bodies.
There were, of course, the SLATQ-MAHs but those are not bolt-on - so please, no one mention them
I could be mistooken.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I was going to suggest the Model 88, but they, of course, were made of chopped liver.
