There WAS a thread a few weeks back regarding a Warmoth staff member (Gregg) joining the forum and asking for our opinions and neck pocket measurements. Strangely enough, the topic doesn't exist any more.
Actually it's just a maple/maple JTX neck with a modded heel to fit a regular Jackson pocket - thinnest neck Jackson ever made for an import, and will smoke anything around in terms of playability
If it only had ebony fins, natural headstock, and black binding
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
While Warmoth makes killer ebony/maple necks (one of their 3a birdseye maple necks with macassar ebony looks just phenomonal and plays like a dream) they don't generally use real MOP for inlays if that matters to you. So if you turn in the Dinky and decide down the road to get a replacement in the manner you describe you will probably have to pay an additional upcharge more than the flat 70.00 to get genuine MOP, if that even matters to you
I'd do it if I had a Dinky neck to turn in. The neck I was planning on to replace my Mighty Mite I currently have on my Warmoth I estimated at 550 (including the price of the locking tuners), so that would be a nice discount .

No upcharge, they simply will NOT do genuine MOP, I asked them plenty of times!
