anyone know the difference btwn the J/C style necks they already sell and the ones they are asking to look at?

The ones they sell currently have a Fender footprint. The Jackson heels are larger.

Necks made to fender specs and jackson specs are both 25 1/2" scale... but the fender neck heel ends between the 21st and 22nd frets...

... a charvel/jackson bolt neck heel ends between the 23rd and 24th fret. This moves the mounting area about 7/8ths of an inch closer to the bridge, not to mention as the strings get slightly wider down the length of the neck, it makes the heel slightly wider there as well.

Personally, I love the Charvel Jackson bolting because it makes access to the upper half of the fingerboard a breeze. Fender spec necks with 24 frets have a large fingerboard overhang, but the heel is still in the way.
