Chuck can set up a guitar like it's cool...no doubt!!

Pretty much damn perfect out of the case!!

And, if you've ever gotten anything from Chuck, you have to have a blowtorch to open the damn box and wade through yards (yes, I mean yards) of packing material to get the goodies.

He's put my Min-Pin in fits of rage helping me open a box before lol!!

Chuck's like, "hey, I have a blank brass neck plate coming your way"......took me hours to open it up lol!! </font>

Also, I'm not sure Chuck will actually do the set-up. When I talked to Matt it sounded possible, but more likely that someone else was going to handle it. While I'd sure like to take advantage of Chuck's killer set-up skills, I'm sure it'll be cool either way. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Also, let me throw out a quick story of further thanks to Matt, for being such a cool guy and super dealer... I didn't realize this until we spoke last night, but Matt actually ordered this PC1 several months ago for his shop's dealer stock. I only ordered mine two months ago, when JW announced the strathead thing in the "Ask Jackson" area. It just so happened that both orders were for chlorine guitars. So, given my existing order, Matt was VERY cool and gave me the first strathead in his door (and likely one of the very first strathead PC1s made) and laid off on his dealer stock until the other order comes in, possibly not for a few months. The necks on the PC1s are outstanding. A little bigger than most bolt on guitars but you can shred on them no problem. Very smooth and great fret jobs. Strings were so close on my when I first got it I had to raise the heigth. Toneful and articulate. Great necks for vibrato. Similar to a standard C shape but with a compound radius and a little larger than a standard Charvel bolt on neck. And yeah they are 1 11/16" at the nut.

I'm tellin ya it felt like 1 5/8",sure there wasn't a change when it became a strathead??I'll try to measure the nut width if I can!!
