Once again Don. They (James) don't hate it. He thinks it's a little dry. The tone he hates is the RTL tone.

I personally am a fan of the heavily layered, dry wall of ubercrunch.

I love the tone on RTL, that was my favorite Metallica cd. Yes more than Master even.
