How depressing is this thread?

I'm 45 with 2 teenage daughters. They are aging me in dog years right now (boys)! My wife is 8 years younger than me, so I guess I'm destine for the blue pills.

I have no Jacksons anymore, but I do have Charvels:

Model 2: i have 2 white ones
Model 4M: black with maple neck
Model 6: black
Model 7: 2 of them. one black & one blue
750 XL: trans amber top
Bass 3B: white
other guitars: Gibson, Dean

I'm over 40 and have 3 Charvels at the moment.

I know a few guys around my age that dig old C/J guitars. If you were in your 20's (and broke like me- LOL) back in the mid '80's when these guitars were at their peak of popularity, then it isn't much of a surprise that there are many collectors out there in their 40's that have some money now that want these guitars.

I'm 44 and currently in 2 metal bands. I am physically faster, stronger and a better player than I was when I was 24. I also appreciate music alot more now.
