• Where to read the history of Grover Jackson?

I would like to read a bit more about the history of Grover Jackson & Charvel and the guitars - when and how did it all start, where did he come from, who did what, when did what happen, why, where's he now?

Please point me in any direction, but i prefer some good http links with an unbiased approach to the history.

Thank you very much, dudes

Phew, that was fun reading! Is it really true that Jacksons success in the metal years had several big guitar manufactors on the verge of bankrupcy? Are we talking Gibson and Fender here?

Well, gotta get back... Thanks Chuckracer!

And while those sites above that Chuck provided kick a$$, you may wish to supplement that info with my own articles on the Shred Zone.

See the first one I wrote, "Era of the Superstrat." The others are the histories of various Jackson models.

Joe, that's very cool!
I bookmarked it for a "tonight" read.

I booked it for a "instant" read and sweet it was.
Joe, a note for the picture with the Rhoads says "Jake E. Lee Blue Burst Rhoads Guitar" - was there a Jake E. Lee named Rhoads at that time? Never heard of it...

No, the reference to J.E. Lee is the color alone. He had some different colors that were bursted, purple and blue were the most common. You can see that Rhoads with his signature color in the Gallery, it's a 1987 RR1962.
