I cant give you an exact price on the wood itself, but my friend just bought a koa Suhr and it went for $2400. I know its an expensive wood because of its rarity. I also heard that they dont import as much of it as they did years ago.
Well cost wise for a koa neck and body from the jackson custom shop its a $360 upcharge (240 for the body and 120 for neck and thats cost, contact a dealer for additional info) and thats unfigured koa. If you were to get a flame koa top I can imagine your looking at 300 or so for a 1/8" top. Flame Koa is very much in demand and very much rare which drives the prices up alot. But its worth it in my opinion. One of nature's most beautiful woods in looks and in tone.
