1. Your bro did good, the case alone is worth about 2x that on Fleabay
2. It´s definitely a Jackson (DUH)
3. I can´t read the "extra" on the head, but looking at the Pickups and trem I´m gonna go out on a limb and say it lookslike a JSX-94 or a PS-2.... but admittedly, that´s not anything firm becasue I can´t see the details.

But you definitely got a guitar and case worth about 5-10X what you paid, possibly more depending on condition, eBay´s "mood", and what it really is.... as a player it could be worth more to you [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
